After a nice 7 days of  fun in the sun (went on a 7 day Western Carib cruise.  I don't know if it was the time of year...or the cruise line (Princess) but man those people were OLD!  80% of the ship had to be around 80 years old, 10% were around the 40's and the other 10% were the younger folks (30's, 20s, teens and toddlers).  Most of the crew falls into the last group.  Because my friend and I are asian and we're young...a lot of elderly folk on the ship and store personnel at the ports thought we worked on the ship.  They kept asking if we were coming back the following week!

There was food left and right but there's only so much a person can eat before they start turning away food.  After the first 2 days of constant snacking....I began to pick at my food.  it's not that it wasn't good...I think I was suffering from indigestion.

Near the end of the cruise I just wanted to eat some plain congee.  Never thought I'd say that =)  Anyway, everyone was saying that almost everyone who goes on a cruise will gain an average of 5 lbs.  I guess I'm below average...I lost 6 lbs.

Well I have about 9 months to save up for my next trip...probably HK in November to visit my Grannie.

it's been a while since I last blogged....I guess that means there hasn't been anything interesting lately.

Anyway, I went to the Joey Yung concert yesterday at Casino Rama....it was very good!  She's improved a lot since her early days and she even showed some really horrible PR pictures from back in the day.  She was a good sport when she cleared the air about the plastic surgery rumors.  I was a little disappointed when she didn't sing "Hug Hug" but I guess it's too sad of a song to sing for such an upbeat concert.

My sister and I decided to take the casino bus with Tai Pan vacations and it was absolute chaos!  I've never seen such disorganization before in my life!  It was poor crowd control and it seemed no one knew anything about how the buses were going be organized coming back to Toronto.  I didn't win much of anything at the 5 cent slots (they're so cute to play!) but I had some really really REALLY good bread pudding!

I just got a new hair cut yesterday....I went to this place called Image Focus and they're pretty good!  Yeah it was pushing $200 but I got my Elumen hair colour by Goldwell!  I've had the red done for the last 3 years so I went with orange this time....I'm quite pleased with the results!  As for the cut I now look like I went to the same stylist as Ivana from The Apprentice.  GO IVANA GO!  Make us Asians proud!
